Twitter Crosses Pop-Culture Threshold

I've always taken Twitter seriously as a potentially-valuable tool for businesses.

But not taking it seriously is a sign of micro-messaging's penetration into the culture at large. It's the subject of this week's Doonesbury strips, and gets a send-up from Jon Stewart (below); a more serious take can be found here.
