Handheld Computing Arrives
Here's some not-very-surprising news: people are using their iPhones as netbooks.
Steve Jobs said that would be the case, now there's data to back him up.
The implications for enterprise use as smartphones and portable computers converge: your people need to lug around fewer devices, you have to buy fewer devices, and everyone gets better connectivity.
Of course, that doesn't mean Apple will be the vendor -- you may prefer one of those souped-up BlackBerries, or something that's just over the horizon.
But for a lot of functions, computers larger than a handheld will soon seem quaint.
